Summary: DHS encourages HCBS employment and day service providers to apply for MTI’s technical assistance cohort for September 2025 through July 2026.

Effective date: Aug. 5, 2025

Summary: Effective Aug. 5, 2025, EIDBI agencies and providers must have a completed DHS background study through NETStudy 2.0 with an eligible or set-aside result before they provide services.

Audience: Disability waiver service providers

Summary: The 2025 Minnesota Legislature passed a change to the DWRS compensation thresholds policy to delay implementation until Jan. 1, 2029. DHS will begin to track compensation thresholds policy compliance during the 2030 DWRS cost reporting period.
