Congratulations to our July Young Dem of the Month, Hana Katz! Hana is a lifelong environmental advocate and community leader dedicated to building a more just and resilient future. A proud South Jersey resident, Hana currently serves as Chair of the New Jersey Young Democrats Environmental Caucus and is an active member of the Burlington County Young Democrats. Throughout her career, Hana has worked to help communities confront the realities of climate change — advancing clean energy, improving flood protection, and rethinking land use and disaster preparedness. Her work reflects a deep commitment to sustainability and equity across New Jersey. Outside of her professional efforts, Hana volunteers with her local fire department, demonstrating her passion for service and community safety. In every role she takes on, Hana brings compassion, lived experience, and a strong belief in the power of people to drive lasting change. NJYD Endorsement / Support Information

We are headed to Philadelphia! Every two years, the Young Democrats of America hosts a convention to bring together hundreds of young democrats for training, strategic planning, networking, and the election of the YDA officers for the next biennium. The 2025 National Convention of the Young Democrats of America will take place July 16th through July 19th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. We’re proud to announce that the New Jersey Young Democrats are sending a powerhouse delegation of over 30 delegates and alternate delegates to the Young Democrats of America National Convention in Philadelphia! This is one of the largest delegations NJYD has ever sent, and we’re ready to make our voices heard on the national stage.
