Luke 13-14

Reflection Questions:

1. What was Jesus's message in view of the victims who died at the hands of Pilate's thugs and those who died tragically from the tower collapse in Siloam (see 13:1-5)?

  1. Death comes to everyone.
  2. Life is not fair.
  3. Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
  4. None of the above.

2. What did Jesus really mean by telling would-be followers that if they don't "hate" family members and even their own life, they cannot be His disciple (see 14:26)? Was He being literal?
