There is no shortage of photos that capture the vibrant life of the redwood forests. And on the days when you can’t be out on the trail, these images sweep us away to the forest, keeping us inspired and grounded.

With so many breathtaking photos, it’s not easy choosing which one will grace the cover of our annual Save the Redwoods League calendar… that’s why we need YOUR help!

This year, we’re featuring the unique creatures who make their home in the redwood forests. We’re highlighting redwood forest animals that are exclusive to or dependent on the redwood ecosystem, such as dusky-footed woodrats, marbled murrelets, and northern spotted owls.

Which is your favorite? There are no wrong answers, promise!

Curating these photos each year for our calendar is something we always look forward to — it lets us bring a little of the forest’s wonder into your everyday life.
