Global warming is one of the greatest environmental problems of our time.

This is our plan to get the U.S. to a 100% clean energy economy by 2050.

Heat-trapping gasses and other climate pollutants emitted since the beginning of the industrial revolution have warmed the planet an average of 1.8˚ Fahrenheit (1˚ Celsius) above preindustrial levels.

And while that may not sound like a big change, it’s enough to already trigger dangerous sea level rise, deadly wildfires, coral bleaching and other devastating changes for people, communities and wildlife worldwide. And it’s going to get worse. We need urgent action.

EDF’s climate experts have put together a Climate Action Plan to reverse that trend by slashing climate pollution going forward, repairing the damage that’s already been done and building a more resilient country better-equipped to weather the effects of climate change we’re already experiencing today.

We’ve broken their plan down step by step in our latest photo slideshow, Our Climate Action Plan.

We hope you’ll review the plan and share it with others who are looking to be part of the solution.

Thank you for everything you do,
