John, I’ll never forget the morning of Nov. 9, 2016. I was devastated. But I wasn’t alone.
That day — and in the days that followed — thousands of young people realized what I did: Despair isn’t a strategy. Organizing is.
So on Inauguration Day in 2017, we launched Run for Something to build a pipeline of local leaders who could take on Trumpism and transform politics from the ground up.
Now, Trump is back in the White House. He and his allies are attacking public education, LGBTQIA+ rights, housing, healthcare, abortion access, and democracy itself.
But here’s what gives me hope: Since 2024, more than 50,000 people have signed up to run.
And now? Our candidate pipeline includes over 210,000 future public servants. And we just launched something to support them like never before.
🎓 The RFS Pipeline Program is a one-of-a-kind training and mentorship experience:
- Self-paced courses across every campaign skill
- 1:1 coaching from former candidates and pros
- A vibrant online community for connection and collaboration
