This weekend, in the wake of the flooding in Texas, Sunrise Hubs from across Texas showed up with a simple message: end big oil subsidies and tax breaks, and use them to fund climate disaster response.

Trump and his billionaire-bought government have done the opposite: slashing programs everyday people rely on, like FEMA and Medicaid, to give handouts to the richest people on earth.

It’s absolutely unacceptable, and we’re going to make them pay. We’re organizing and training thousands of young people and together we’re going to win the world we deserve.

That’s why starting this Wednesday, July 16th, we’re running a comprehensive training series on the skills you need to get organized and fight back, and we want you there.

Big Oil has polluted our air and water, threatened our future, and funded rising fascism, all so they can turn our tax dollars into their personal slush fund.

We’re seeing the consequences of this in real time. Nearly two-thirds of calls to FEMA went unanswered in the aftermath of this disaster. We should be able to count on our government showing up when we need it most!

And this is only the start. With every summer, we get record hurricanes, record wildfires, and extreme hate across the nation. This isn’t natural. It’s the direct product of greedy fossil fuel billionaires buying out our government.

The only thing that’s going to beat them is a skilled and disciplined mass movement.
