I want to clear something up.
John,
I want to clear something up.
This movement we’re building at Leaders We Deserve?
It’s not about young vs. old. It’s about change vs. the status quo.
And the truth is, a lot of the people fueling this work — donating, showing up, believing in us — are not Gen Z.
They’re older folks who see what’s broken in our politics and want better for the future. They don’t see young people as a threat. They see us as a chance.
That’s something I think about a lot. Because when I talk about electing young leaders, I’m not just talking about our generation — I’m talking about people of all ages who are tired of the same old excuses, the same politicians cashing checks from the gun lobby or dragging their feet while our planet burns.
The support we get from older donors, volunteers, and advocates is a reminder: This fight isn’t generational warfare. It’s a coalition — across ages, states, and experiences — coming together to demand something better.
If you’re someone who’s helped power this work, I want to say thank you.
Thank you for believing in young people.
Thank you for choosing change over comfort.
And thank you for proving that progress takes all of us.
Will you pitch in $5 or anything you can to keep fueling this movement?
