WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Legal (AFL) is now accepting applications for its Fall 2025 Law Clerk Program. AFL seeks driven, mission-aligned second- and third-year law students ready to advance America First Principles.
AFL law clerks work on critical legal matters and play an active role in defending the rule of law, advancing conservative principles, and protecting everyday Americans. Through hands-on experience in litigation and government accountability, clerks have a front-row seat to the conservative legal movement in action and learn how to use the tools that shape state and federal policy.
In addition to legal work, clerks participate in programming designed to sharpen their legal skills and deepen their understanding of conservative principles. This includes regular workshops and exclusive opportunities to connect with and learn from prominent attorneys and policymakers within the America First movement.
This high-impact, substantive clerkship requires a 10-20-hour weekly commitment. AFL offers in-person clerkships at its Washington, D.C. office, but can also accommodate remote candidates. Specific hours and arrangements are determined on an individual basis.
