It’s another pandemic election day in America―which means hundreds of thousands of Americans are forced to make a choice between participating in our democracy and risking their lives. That choice is especially stark for seniors, who are most vulnerable to COVID.

There’s a simple solution: Vote by mail. But Donald Trump is going out of his way to discredit a system that’s safe, accessible, and easy for voters. And Mitch McConnell is holding up critical funding that states need now in order to implement vote by mail before November’s general election. The fight against vote by mail is just another front in the GOP war on seniors!

Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Hawaii, and Washington all already hold their elections entirely by mail. There are systems to make it safe, secure, and easy―but the other 45 states (and DC) need funding to prepare NOW.

The House of Representatives provided such funding in the HEROES Act, but Mitch McConnell’s Senate has refused to vote on it.

McConnnell and Trump’s whole agenda is jamming through unpopular policies with the support of a minority of the country. And the harder it is for us to vote, the easier it is for them to defund and destroy our Social Security system.

We’re going to break the logjam! Seniors want to vote to protect and expand Social Security and Medicare, and to stop Pharma corruption and lower drug prices. Chip in to make that happen!

As more and more polling shows that Trump’s support among older voters is waning, he’s ramped up his attacks.[1] But it’s not just Donald Trump. Wall Street’s favorite members of Congress, led by Sen. Mitt Romney, are pushing the TRUST Act, which would make it easier to fast-track cuts to Social Security and Medicare behind closed doors.
