John,
As the eyes of the nation are on Kentucky and New York for today’s primary election, I’m feeling so proud of the work we’ve done. A few months ago, Jamaal Bowman and Charles Booker were seen as longshots, but because of the hard work Sunrisers around the country have done, they’re neck-and-neck with their opponents.
The one million calls we’ve made to voters during phone banks, the art and signs we’ve posted everywhere, the banner drops, the protests—it has all brought us to this moment.
Sunrisers on the ground couldn’t do any of this without support from the rest of the movement. Contributions help pay for art supplies, travel expenses, technology, and so much more. Right now, we’re planning ahead for the next elections and the most critical general election of our lives come November. To give my team the green light to dream big, I need your help.

We’ve turned the funding we’ve received so far into major impact. On Juneteenth, dozens of Sunrisers showed up at Mitch McConnell’s home with banners and bullhorns to demand justice for Breonna Taylor.
Throughout the campaign, Sunrisers in NY have been flooding the Bronx with support for Jamaal Bowman, wheat pasting signs and dropping banners.

Volunteers in KY have been canvassing on behalf of Booker, changing minds and hearts (at a safe distance).
And, throughout the month, hundreds of Sunrisers have signed up for phone bank shifts. Collectively, we’ve made over one million calls. Last night, in a final push before election day today, we made close to 300,000 calls. (We need people to help with more calls to New Yorkers throughout the day today, too—so click here to sign up for a shift and secure every vote we can for Bowman [[link removed]] !)

We are a force to be reckoned with, and our hard work could end up being what pushes these underdogs over the finish line to victory. But all of this amazing effort couldn’t have been realized without the support from the Sunrise community.
Can you give monthly to help us keep the pressure on as we head toward November? [[link removed]] We are breaking records and political norms left and right—to keep doing that, we need your help.
Don’t let this momentum stop,

P.S. - We urgently need more peo [[link removed]] ple to sign up for phone bank shifts today [[link removed]] . In NY, Bowman’s opponents are using racist attack ads to discredit our champion. Can you give an hour or two of your time to help us make calls to voters and set the record straight? [[link removed]]
