Supporting Communities throughout New Hampshire
We believe in fostering the basic needs of people in communities around New Hampshire. We do this by providing individuals and families who meet challenges in life some much-needed relief. Having a safe and secure place to call home and a meal on the table is a concern that no one should have in the Granite State.
Your participation in our annual events brings this mission to life and shines a little light in an otherwise dark time for the individuals we serve. If you missed our Virtual Walk Against Hunger event in May, you can stay connected through another opportunity and engage your community in fulfilling this mission.
This August, the Families in Transition-New Horizons Run for Hope event will be held as a virtual 5k in recognition of our FIT-NH Hope House program in Wolfeboro, NH.
Homelessness is a challenge for all communities, and can be seemingly less obvious in certain parts of New Hampshire. The FIT-NH Hope House program serves as the only family safe, emergency housing in Carroll County, providing services to ensure that families experiencing homelessness in the Governor Wentworth Regional School District have a safe place to transform their lives and find stable housing with dedicated support.
Join us Thursday, August 6 for our fourth annual Families in
Transition-New Horizons Run for Hope.
