I needed to share this update with you directly, John: A wealthy Republican businessman just filed paperwork to run against me. 

With the GOP in control of the White House, the Senate, and the House, it's absolutely critical for Democrats to hold onto every seat possible - including mine in PA-06 - to more effectively push back against the reckless and dangerous actions of this administration.

We can't wait until next year to take action, John. Building a strong grassroots movement must start now so we're prepared as we head into another election year in 2026. That's why I'm personally asking:

Since day one, my priority has always been to use my voice and vote to help our community. This is just some of my recent work in Congress:

* I just started the BIOTech Caucus, building on the release of the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology’s recent report to Congress, to raise awareness of the strength of other countries (like China) and to promote solutions that foster domestic innovation and improve our national security. More on that in an upcoming newsletter. 

* As co-chair of the Climate Solutions Caucus, I fought against elimination of the EV and other clean energy tax credits in the Republican budget bill and am working on the upcoming Farm Bill to support local farmers while promoting conservation.

* I continue to push paid family leave policies at the federal level, most recently introducing the More Paid Leave for More Americans Act to take advantage of the patchwork of successful state level programs across the country.

* I wrote the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Payment Completion Fairness Act to make it easier for people in public service careers to have their student loans forgiven.

Every day, I'm working hard to build relationships with colleagues to deliver on issues that matter most to you and your family, from making health care more affordable and accessible to enabling economic growth. But I can't continue this work without your critical grassroots support, John. 

Will you chip in right away so we can keep this seat in 2026, flip the House blue, and defend our communities against Trump and the GOP's extremist agenda?
