Friend,
Exactly one month ago today, Rep. Melissa Hortman was assassinated in an act of political violence. They came for her because she was a woman in power who refused to back down.
As Americans, we cannot let the growth of political violence in our country go unnoticed or unchecked.
This isn’t about left or right, it’s about the right to serve safely. We need to come together, leaders and community members, and ensure that what happened in Minnesota never happens again.
We can’t do this alone, friend. It will take everyone standing up and fighting back to end the epidemic of political violence in America.

As leaders, we must stand together against hate, against fear, against violence. We refuse to be silenced.
I joined my fellow Florida women to stand with Rep. Melissa Hortman because political violence has no place in a democracy.

Thank you,
