Senate plans to hold a vote this week that would cut already approved
funding for vital programs that provide food aid, HIV prevention, clean

Last week, The Trump Administration and House Republicans used a rarely
used process called rescissions to try to claw back U.S. foreign
assistance funding that Congress has already provided. This reckless
action jeopardizes both current and future humanitarian and development
programs

Now, vital programs are in jeopardy, like those that provide food aid, HIV
prevention, clean water, basic education, and shelter for refugees fleeing
violence.
