Friend,
The outrages and horrors of just the past week paint a dire picture of a society perilously close to the full consolidation of fascist rule:
* In L.A. over 100 armed federal agents and soldiers stormed a city park, prompting Mayor Bass to say it looked like the lead-up to a coup.
* A military style raid by Trump’s Gestapo at a farm in Ventura County killed Jaime Alanis Garcia and the kidnapping over 300 people
* In Florida, reports emerged of torturous conditions inside ICE’s Alligator Auschwitz, a concentration camp in a swamp in Hurricane alley quickly filling to capacity.
* Trump threatened to revoke the citizenship of NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and deport him. He also declared his intention to “take over” NYC and DC.
* Trump threatened to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship
This is just some of what has transpired a week after the Supreme Court handed Trump even more power, making it nearly impossible to stop unconstitutional executive orders.
This fascism must be defeated—NOW.
That will take massive, growing, sustained mobilization of people refusing to accept a fascist America. “The Trump Fascist Regime Must Go—NOW” must not just be a slogan.
It must become a mission.
Thursday July 17 join us in making Good Trouble because now is a time for mass non-compliance and nonviolent resistance. Let’s rise to the urgency of this moment.
