Join for our July 2025 chapter meeting. We will be having our first member forum and debate for 2026 eletoral endorsements. Hear from candidates who have applied for an endorsement from DSA-LA!
This meeting will be open only to DSA-LA members in good standing. The work of the chapter is done by dues-paying DSA-LA members, who carefully deliberate and vote on every endorsement decision made. DSA-LA is as strong as its members. If you’re not yet a DSA member, today’s a great day to join. Get involved with building socialism in Los Angeles.

DSA/NDLON Adopt a Home Depot Volunteer Training

DSA-LA is teaming up with the National Day Laborers Organizing Network (NDLON) to adopt day laborer and street vendor locations to be on the lookout for ICE attacks. We need volunteers to be at these locations to call in to the Rapid Response Network and film when ICE arrives.
Each DSA Branch is adopting different locations and doing shifts each day for the next few weeks. Come volunteer to help us stop ICE and protect our communities.
This training is to go over what you need to do in order to volunteer. We’ll cover the rapid response network, logistics, roles, safety, and best practices.

Curious about DSA? Saw Zohran Mamdani’s win and thinking about how we can replicate it here? This is the event for you! Join DSA-LA Central Branch comrades for a casual social at Love Hour in Koreatown. The first 45 minutes will be structured icebreakers and discussion about the state of the socialist movement after Zohran’s win, followed by a more unstructured social.
Whether you’re a long-time member, new to the chapter, or just curious about DSA, please join us for some drinks, food and good conversation with comrades! We’ll spend the first hour in a semi-structured conversation around this article about Zohran’s victory in NYC, and then break out to unstructured socialization from 7-8pm.

Under orders from the Trump administration, fascist ICE agents are conducting brutal raids across Los Angeles at our workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. Join community members and DSA-LA comrades to walk through Koreatown to do outreach to community businesses, and make sure they are informed about their legal rights and prepared to safeguard their workers from ICE raids.
Training and support provided to first time canvassers.

Join DSA-LA’s Queer Socialist Working Group as we stand together with the LA LGBT Center, our queer community, and our allies in the fight to SAVE GENDER AFFIRMING CARE at Children’s Hospital LA and beyond.There’s no question- trans healthcare saves lives, and trans rights are human rights. We’re showing up every Thursday until July 22nd to demand that CHLA reverse its decision to shutter its Center for Transyouth Health and Development, and Gender-Affirming Care surgical program.
Meet your comrades, make your voice heard, and help us build DSA-LA’s queer contingency and community coalitions – because LGBTQIA+ rights are never given, they are won.
