Dear Patriot,
I’m James O’Keefe, and I’m writing to you not just as a
journalist, but as someone who’s poured his heart, soul, and life into a
mission that’s bigger than me.
For over 15 years, I’ve fought to expose the truth—about
corruption, fraud, and the powerful who think they can hide in the shadows.
It’s been a journey of sacrifice, risk, and relentless determination, and
I’m asking you to join
me in this fight by supporting O’Keefe Media
Group.
Picture me in 2009, a kid from Westwood, New Jersey, with nothing but
a cheap camera and a fire in my belly.
I grew up in a family that taught me to work hard and stand for
what’s right, but I had no money, no connections, just a belief that the
American people deserved to know what was happening behind closed doors.
I maxed out credit cards to buy plane tickets and equipment, racking
up $50,000 in debt for one investigation alone—exposing NPR’s bias in
2011.
I’d lie awake at night, wondering how I’d pay it off, but I kept
going because I knew the truth was worth it.
A few years before that in 2009, I got my big break. I went
undercover at ACORN, a group funded by your tax dollars. Posing as a pimp
and with an undercover journalist posing as a prostitute, we caught
employees on hidden camera offering advice on dodging taxes and running
illegal operations. The videos hit like a thunderbolt—Congress
cut ACORN’s funding, and the organization collapsed.
It was proof that one person could change the game. But it also
painted a target on my back. The powerful don’t like being
exposed, and they’ve been coming for me ever since.
Will
you help me keep exposing the truth?
I need to raise $28,400 as soon as possible to fund
our July operations, cover travel for our next sting, and pay our team. Your
gift of $25, $50, or $100 will keep our cameras rolling and our mission
alive. Donate now.
In 2010, I faced one of my darkest moments.
I was arrested for entering Senator Mary Landrieu’s office,
investigating claims she was ignoring constituents during the healthcare
debate. Despite showing my ID went I entered the building, I was still
charged for entering a federal building under false pretenses.
The government slapped me with felony charges, and I spent a night in
a jail cell, staring
at the walls, wondering if my dream was over.
I was 25, facing years in prison, and the media painted me as a
villain. But I thought of the people counting on me—the Americans who
deserved to know the truth—and I refused to give up.
I pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, got three years of probation, 100
hours of community service, and a $1,500 fine. Even on probation, I
didn’t stop. I built a team of citizen journalists and kept
digging, exposing voter fraud and media bias while under the government’s
thumb.
That resilience paid off. In 2011, we released videos that forced
NPR’s CEO and executives to resign, revealing their bias to the world.
In 2014, I crossed the Rio Grande dressed as Osama bin Laden to
expose border security failures, sparking a U.S. Senate investigation. My
mentor, Andrew Breitbart, called me “one of the great journalists,” and
Rush Limbaugh said our NPR sting was a “grand
slam.”
But every victory came with a cost—more lawsuits, more threats,
more attempts to silence me.
Your
support can keep this fight alive.
We’re the only ones exposing the bureaucrats undermining our Republic,
and we need $28,400 by in days to continue. A
donation of $50 or $200 will fund our next investigation and protect our
work from activist lawsuits.
The hardest blow came in 2021.
I woke up to the FBI pounding on my door in Mamaroneck, New
York, raiding my home over a diary allegedly belonging to President
Biden’s daughter.
They took my phones, my computers, everything—trying to scare me
into submission.
I stood in my apartment, watching them tear through my life, and felt
the weight of their power.
But I also felt a fire inside me.
If they were coming this hard, it meant I was hitting a nerve.
I refused to back down, speaking out on Fox News with Sean Hannity,
declaring, “This is an attack on the First Amendment.” That moment
strengthened my resolve to keep fighting, no matter the odds.
The lawsuits have been relentless.
From ACORN employees to activist attorneys, I’ve faced legal
battles that would break most people. Even my own organization, Project
Veritas, sued me in 2023, alleging financial mismanagement after I founded
O’Keefe Media Group.
They tried to bury me, but I kept going, because the truth is
bigger than any one fight.
I
need you now more than ever. Summer
donations are down, and we
must raise $28,400 within days to keep exposing
corruption.
Your
gift of $25 or $75 will help us train citizen journalists and fight back
against those trying to silence us. Donate today.
There have been nights when I’ve questioned if it’s worth it.
The legal bills, the threats, the constant pressure—it takes a
toll.
I’ve sacrificed relationships, financial security, and my own
safety.
But then I think of the lives we’ve touched. Like the voters who
saw our exposés on election and Voter ID fraud, leading to new laws in
multiple states.
Or the families who benefited when we exposed Medicaid incompetence,
forcing retraining. Every time I feel like giving up, I remember why I
started: because the American people deserve a government that
serves them, not one that hides behind lies.
With O’Keefe Media Group, I’m building a
legacy.
We’re not just reporting news—we’re training an army of citizen
journalists to carry the torch. Our recent work has exposed media
cover-ups, government waste, and corporate greed, sparking firings and
policy reviews. But we’re not done.
The bureaucrats undermining President Trump’s agenda, wasting your
tax dollars, and pushing their own agendas are still out there.
We’re the only ones holding them accountable with hidden cameras
and fearless journalism.
Will
you stand with me?
We
need $28,400 within days to keep going.
Your
donation of $50, $100, or $500 is a direct blow against corruption,
ensuring the truth reaches millions.
I’m not an activist. I’m a journalist, driven by an obsession to
uncover what the powerful want hidden.
The mainstream media won’t do it—they’re too busy protecting
the elites.
But I’ve never backed down, and I never will. I’ve risked
everything for this mission, and I’m asking you to join me.
Your support isn’t just a donation—it’s
a lifeline.
It’s a statement that you believe in truth, transparency,
and the fight for our Republic.
Please, if my story moves you, if you believe in what we’re doing,
donate
today. We’re
down to the wire, and every dollar counts.
Together, we can keep exposing the truth and holding the
powerful accountable.
Thanks for standing with me,
James O’Keefe
