John,

The Trump administration is waging one of the most aggressive assaults on our civil and human rights in a generation. From diverting hundreds of billions of our tax dollars from healthcare and crucial services to fund his mass deportation agenda, to criminalizing protest and silencing our voices, these attacks demand a response.

Trump is trying to divide us, but we know the power of coming together. The time for good trouble is now.

New York City, join us this Thursday, July 17th at Foley Square for the Good Trouble Lives On rally to remind Trump the power lies in the people!

๐Ÿ“ WHERE: Foley Square
๐Ÿ“… WHEN: Thursday July 17 @ 5:30PM
๐Ÿ’ Bring flowers and wear white in honor of those disappeared by ICE

Sixty years ago, civil rights activists marched in Selma, braving state repression to peacefully demonstrate the hypocrisy of the U.S. government, which refused to acknowledge their equal rights, deeming Black Americans as โ€œsecond class citizens.โ€ Now, the Trump administration is escalating attacks from the same playbook on immigrant communities and working-class Americans.ย

No matter what they throw at us, we will defend our immigrant communities and fight for a future where each and every one of us has a chance to live in safety with opportunity for all.

In power,

Murad Awawdeh
President and CEO
