The contest for vice president just lost a major contender.
Senator Amy Klobuchar has dropped out of the running, after telling Joe Biden on Thursday that the Democratic nominee should pick a woman of color as his running mate.
Said Klobuchar: “After what I’ve seen in my state, what I’ve seen across the country, this is a historic moment and America must seize on this moment...a moment to put a woman of color on that ticket.”
