We’re nearly halfway through the month, which means we are nearly halfway to our next FEC deadline. After the deadline passes, we’ll be required to report how much we’ve raised.
This is the first report we’ll file after Trump and congressional Republicans passed their disastrous budget bill — ripping health care coverage from 17 million Americans, putting rural hospitals at risk, and overwhelming food banks.
Republicans have seen the polling. They know their bill is unpopular. And if we report a large number of donations at the end of this month, they’ll see that there is serious grassroots opposition to their agenda.
They’ll see that we are building the support we need to take back Congress and elect Democrats who will act as a check on Trump’s power.
