John — A week from today, we face our next (and arguably the most important) FEC fundraising deadline.

The challenge is, we’re not quite where we need to be right now to hit our fundraising goals.

We can’t afford a summer slump, especially not as Washington Republicans dump tens of millions of dollars into this race.

I can tell you this: Mitch McConnell and his corporate special interest donors are praying we slip up here. Any mistake, especially missing a fundraising goal before we file our public FEC report, jeopardizes our chance to flip this seat.

We can catch up, but only if a whole lot of people like you donate whatever you can to fund our campaign. So, I’m asking:
