I’ll be honest with you: It’s a frustrating time in Congress. The Republican majority just passed a budget that prioritizes wealthy donors and corporations, while putting the burden squarely on the backs of seniors, veterans, women, children, and working families.

We should be investing in people, not stripping away their health care or food assistance to fund giveaways for the ultra-wealthy. This reckless legislation threatens to raise costs for those who can least afford it.

Let’s make something clear: Every single Democrat in Congress voted against this egregious bill. We stood together to defend working people, but the current Republican majority has shown us exactly what’s at stake if they remain in power.

That’s why it’s more clear than ever: We must take back the House majority to protect working families. Will you chip in today before our mid-month deadline to help us hold onto this seat and take back the House majority?
