Supporting our students during Coronavirus

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues, students in our district and across our nation are facing unprecedented challenges and educators are doing incredible work adapting to these changes. I am working in Congress to ensure our students and schools have the support they need and I want to make sure you know what is being done to help you and your children.

That’s why, I am excited to announce that this Thursday, June 25 at 7:00pm PT, I will hold my ninth Virtual Town Hall with special guest, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond. We will discuss education, what is being done to prepare for the next school year in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and how to best ensure that students succeed. You will need to register this event by emailing your name to [email protected]. Shortly before the event you will receive an email with instructions on how to join and we will also simulcast the event on my Facebook page.
