On July 3rd, Republicans in the House pushed through a budget bill that includes:

• The largest cut to Medicaid in American history.
   
• The biggest transfer of wealth to the rich in our nation’s history.
   
• The most devastating reduction to food assistance we’ve ever seen.

This isn’t about fiscal responsibility. It’s a blatant display of cruelty, greed, and a total disregard for the people these Republicans were elected to serve.

Just like their Senate counterparts, House Republicans made it clear they’re willing to gut health care and slash food assistance to reward billionaires — no matter the cost to working families, children, or seniors.

I’m doing everything I can to hold Republicans accountable. But this will be an uphill battle.
