DC Council is about to override the will of the voters by gutting Initiative 82 and lowering the tipped minimum wage. And they’re doing it behind closed doors, with no input from the workers who will be affected. We can’t let that happen.

Email Councilmembers TODAY and tell them to reject Chairman Mendelson’s plan to slash the tipped minimum wage. Urge them to support the upcoming budget amendment from Councilmembers Lewis George and Nadeau to protect I-82 and respect the will of the people. DC voters already decided--now it’s up to the Council to listen.
