The Pride Inside Challenge

Hi John,

This year, Pride will be different. COVID-19 means we can’t take to the streets. But Pride won’t stop because of any pandemic. It will grow and evolve so that we can come together, even when we’re physically apart.

For Pride 2020, we want you to share your #PrideInside.

The Pride Inside Challenge

You can don your rainbow attire and dance with pride or share a picture with your protest sign and show solidarity with LGBTI+ struggles - particularly the queer communities across the world currently protesting against racial injustice and police brutality.

Anything to show that you are proud no matter what, proud no matter where.

Follow these simple steps to take part:

Step 1: Dream up your Pride Inside picture or video...

Step 2: Share your #PrideInside on social media, pass the parade by nominating 5 friends, and donate £5 to Amnesty International UK or a chosen charity that supports LGBTI+ people. Make sure to use our hashtag!

Step 3: Follow #PrideInside to watch as others join you in a 2020 Pride Inside Parade!

Parade. Donate. Nominate.

Coming soon...

COVID-19 won’t stop us celebrating LGBTI+ rights. This year, Pride will be inside – in our homes and in our hearts. We have partnered with UK Black Pride, Gendered Intelligence and LGBTQ+ disability group ParaPride, with support from Stonewall, to bring a full calendar of Pride celebrations online this year.

Pride Inside will see artists, musicians, comedians, DJs and activists come together for a series of performances, talks and workshops in a two week-long event from 28 June to 10 July.

Don’t miss Pride. Meet us inside.

Now - more than ever, we have to be loud together and be proud together.

We can’t wait to celebrate Pride with you.

Your donation, however big or small, is so valuable.

Like many not-for-profit organisations, some of our fundraising has been affected by COVID-19 - events are postponed, our book shops are closed and other fundraising activities have been halted in the interests of the health of our staff, volunteers and the public. Amnesty International UK depends on the generosity of our supporters to fund our ongoing fight for human rights. Our usual work must continue, and we must now also ensure emergency laws protect the most vulnerable during this time. Your donation, however big or small, is so valuable.

If you are able to help, please chip in today and help the fight for humanity and human rights continue.
