As you've likely already heard, President Obama will be joining me tonight at 5:15 pm Eastern for a grassroots fundraising event.

This is a big one, and I'm not going to lie: I'm pretty excited. With such busy schedules, it's not every day that Barack and I get to reunite for a campaign event, and talk with great supporters like you about how we're going to work together to beat Donald Trump on November 3rd.

I took a moment this morning to review who has already RSVP'd for the fundraiser -- and I noticed that we're 98% of the way to our fundraising goal for the event.

I know we'll surpass our goal, but we need a few more contributions to make it happen. That's why I'm reaching out to you.
