I’m proud to have known Mike for 20 years, and believe me when I say he’s a real fighter for our communities. Congress desperately needs more leaders like him.
As a fellow Southern Californian, Mike understands the needs of our beautiful home. He’s fighting every day to lower costs for working families, protect our climate, our veterans, and our democracy.
Mike is also one of the sharpest and most serious members of Congress I know. As a House Appropriator, Mike is dedicated to making sure that Southern California's needs are met, but Republicans in the House majority have not been willing to do their jobs alongside him.
That’s what makes winning the House majority next year so critical. And with only three seats separating control, we must make sure we keep competitive seats like Mike’s to make it happen.
As Ranking Member on the House Oversight Subcommittee, I know how important it is to have strong Democrats like Mike helping us take back the gavels. That committee helped expose abuse of power in the first Trump administration, and when we win back the House this fall, we'll need a Democratic majority to do it again.
We can’t afford to lose Mike’s voice, which is why I’m personally asking you:
