Soap. Medicine. Food. These are the things that immigrants detained at the border need right now -- basic human necessities most of us probably take for granted.

But when Congress allocated over $100 million in funds to provide migrants with these basic elements of care, Customs and Border Patrol decided they should spend the money on some new toys instead.

That’s right -- CBP illegally spent money that was supposed to go to migrants in federal custody on “all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes and boats,” according to a Government Accountability Office report.

It’s what an irresponsible child would do. But unfortunately, actual children are going to suffer because of it. Do you find that as infuriating as we do? Tell us now:
