Changing The Gun Violence Prevention Conversation

I am excited to tell you about a new webinar series by Institute for a Progressive Nevada! The Unhappy Hour will feature speakers from various organizations. The goal of these webinars is to connect our volunteers, advocates, and partners with each other on important topics. 

Each webinar will feature a discussion period. This week’s webinar will feature Greg Jackson, the National Advocacy Director with Community Justice Action Fund (CJAF). He will be discussing gun violence in Black and Brown communities, police violence, and strategies to move the conversation on gun violence in the right direction. 

I would like to invite you to the Unhappy Hour: Changing the GVP Conversation this Thursday, June 25th at 3pm! This event is invite-only as we are capping attendance at 10-20 folks. You can easily register for the event by filling out this Google Form. Participants will be sent the Zoom link on the day of the event so make sure to check your email!
