John,I’ll be honest with you: It’s a frustrating time in Congress. The Republican majority just passed a budget that prioritizes wealthy donors and corporations, while putting the burden squarely on the backs of seniors, veterans, women, children, and working families.
We should be investing in people, not stripping away their health care or food assistance to fund giveaways for the ultra-wealthy. This reckless legislation threatens to raise costs for those who can least afford it.
