Hi John,
Last week, Donald Trump signed what MAGA Republicans are calling the “One
Big Beautiful Bill.” But let’s call it what it really is: A Big Bad
Betrayal, with massive giveaways to fossil fuel billionaires that will
devastate our climate, economy, and communities.
It slashes clean energy tax credits, jeopardizing hundreds of thousands of
renewable energy jobs. It threatens to raise household energy bills by
over $400 per year and opens up millions of acres of public lands to oil
and gas drilling.
At the same time, it guts environmental protections, cuts Medicaid and
food assistance, and hands out billions in tax breaks to the
ultra-wealthy.
I’m fighting back. But I can’t do it alone.
