Joined President Trump in Hill Country | Yesterday, I joined President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in Kerrville, Texas, where we were briefed on emergency response measures underway in Texas. The Texas Hill Country holds a special place in the hearts of so many Texans. What has unfolded over the past few days is nothing short of heartbreaking. Lives have been lost, including those of innocent children. My prayers are with all of those impacted by the devastating flooding in Texas. | President Trump made it clear from day one that Texas will receive federal resources to support Hill Country communities during this tough time for our state.
