** PJI Legal Update: Defending Faith and Family Across the Nation

Pacific Justice Institute is currently engaged in more than 280 active legal cases nationwide, standing boldly for faith, parental rights, and constitutional freedoms. In a recent legal battle making national headlines, PJI is defending a women’s Korean spa in Washington State that was forced to close after refusing to admit a biological male into their female-only facilities, where women and teenage girls are often unclothed.
Despite the obvious privacy concerns, a three-judge panel in the Ninth Circuit ruled against the spa’s Christian owners, dismissing their right to operate according to their deeply held beliefs. PJI is now pursuing an en banc review by the full Ninth Circuit, seeking justice and protection for faith-based business owners.
In more encouraging news, a recent Supreme Court ruling from Maryland affirmed that parents have the right to be notified—and to opt their children out—of school curricula that conflict with their religious convictions. This decision sets a powerful precedent that PJI will leverage in its continued efforts to defend parental rights and push back against radical indoctrination in public schools.
