"Evil:" Trump dismisses question about Texas flood warnings, calls response "incredible"
When wildfires ravaged California, Donald Trump was eager to point fingers at Governor Gavin Newsom and state Democrats, even contriving preposterous conspiracy theories to further pile on the blame. But now that disaster has struck in a Republican state that has a Republican governor more than willing to kiss his ass and a VERY well-documented trail of neglect and irresponsible decision-making that allowed the floods to strike without warning, Trump is engaging in full-on authoritarian denial of reality and attacking anyone who dares to question him. "Nobody has any idea how and why a thing like this could happen...It's easy to sit back and say, 'Oh, what could have happened here or there, maybe we could have done something differently. This was a thing ... that's never happened before," said Trump. Except this has happened at least four times before, and that's why the refusal of the state's Republican officials to spend money on an early warning system puts the blame directly on them. It's a complete distortion of reality, a display of offensive gaslighting that ended with the inevitable tarring of a reporter as "evil" for daring to question him and the state officials. It could not be more clear: American lives mean absolutely nothing to him, and he is resentful at having to pretend to care when we inconvenience him by DYING.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Bombshell: shocking update on Epstein prison video
As part of their effort to close the books on the Jeffery Epstein case, Kash Patel's FBI office released a video of the entrance of Jeffery Epstein's prison cell in an attempt to prove to everyone that he committed suicide and nobody entered the cell. But metadata examined by WIRED shows that the video they released was edited several times and contains footage stitched together. While there's no evidence it was edited deceptively, it definitely doesn't help their case or make it seem LESS like a coverup. Great job, bozos!

Vulnerable Republican makes fatal mistake in race that could end GOP control of the Senate
Dan Osborn for Senate: Billionaire GOP Senator Pete Ricketts just got a nightmare challenger in mechanic and union president Dan Osborn, a working class hero who is EVERYTHING that Ricketts isn't. Ricketts' vote to give himself and his billionaire buddies a huge tax cut while kicking millions off their healthcare is the perfect ammo that Osborn needs to send him packing once and for all, but he's going to need help to get his message out. Control of the Senate in 2026 could come down to this seat — will you chip in to jump-start Osborn's campaign and wrest control of the Senate away from Trump's cronies?
Trump's border czar Thomas Homan brags that ICE is racially profiling people
In a terrifying escalation of the Trump administration's fascistic assault on our rights and the Constitution, Thomas Homan declared that his deporation goons don't need probable cause to arrest brown people. “People need to understand, ICE officers and border patrol, they don’t need probable cause to walk up to somebody, briefly detain ‘em and question ‘em...Get our typical facts based on the location, the occupation, their physical appearance, their actions ... agents are trained what they need to detain somebody temporarily and question them is not probable cause, it’s reasonable suspicion. We’re trained on that. Every agent gets 4th amendment training over and over again.” This is a confirmation that his agents are regularly using unconstitutional racial profiling to try to fill their arrest quotas, and Congress needs to take immediate action to rein ICE in. Oh, wait, they just gave them more money than the military budget of Italy.
Dan Bongino weighs resigning from FBI after heated confrontation with Pam Bondi over Epstein files
There's serious discord at the highest levels of American law enforcement as the idiot podcast bros in charge of the FBI square off with the corrupt attorney general over the Trump team's stunning backtracking on the Epstein files. Deputy Director Dan Bongino failed to show up to work on Friday and is considering resigning. “Bongino is out of control furious,” said a person who has spoken with the deputy FBI director said. “This destroyed his career. He’s threatening to quit and torch Pam unless she’s fired.” Bongino and Attorney General Pam Bondi reportedly got into a heated argument, and Bondi, Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel each have complained to others that they were being unfairly blamed for the Epstein flap and hung out to dry. Sure seems like they're a lot more concerned with protecting their own egos than actually, you know, doing their jobs.
Tucker Carlson claims "everyone in Washington" believes that Epstein was a Mossad operative
Ever eager to instigate, conservative propagandist Tucker Carlson fanned the flames of the MAGA dispute over the Epstein files by giving a speech at Turning Point USA's conference in which he promoted allegations that archpedophile Jeffery Epstein worked for Israel's intelligence agency. “It’s extremely obvious to anyone who watches that this guy had direct connections to a foreign government. No one’s allowed to say that that foreign government is Israel, because we have been somehow cowed into thinking that’s naughty...The real question is not ‘Was Jeffrey Epstein a weirdo who was abusing girls?’ The real question is why was he doing this, on whose behalf, and where did the money come from. The fact the U.S. Government, the one I voted for, refused to take my questions seriously and instead said case closed, shut up, conspiracy theorist, was too much for me. I don’t think the rest of us should be satisfied with that." While you never have to hand it to Tucker Carlson, an extra headache for the Trump team is always appreciated.
Israeli settlers kill American citizen in occupied West Bank, family says
Israeli settlers brutalized an American, beating him unconscious and blocking an ambulance from reaching him, according to the victim’s family. The young Palestinian-American was pronounced dead by the time he arrived at a hospital. Sayfollah Musallet, 20, was visiting his family in the Palestinian town of Al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya. His family said in a statement he was beaten "while he was protecting his family's land from settlers who were attempting to steal it." The settlers, according to the family's statement, surrounded Musallet for more than three hours, preventing paramedics from reaching him and "providing life-saving aid." Musallet is at least the seventh American killed in the West Bank, Gaza, or Lebanon since Oct. 7, 2023, including six killed by Israeli forces. Earlier this week, Zeteo asked several Republican senators if they knew how many Americans had been killed by Israel in the last 21 months. None of them could answer.
