Since Thom Tillis dropped out, we’ve been waiting to see which MAGA loyalist throws their red hat into the ring. And it’s looking like Lara Trump.

Recently, NBC News cited a source close to the Trump family saying that Lara Trump was "seriously considering" a bid for North Carolina’s Senate seat. And Trump even said that she’s his "first choice" as the GOP nominee.

Lara Trump has absolutely no clue about what our state needs or how to help working families make ends meet. North Carolinians can spot fakes from a mile away, and Trump’s comments sent a clear message: He will support whoever is most loyal to him — no matter how unqualified.

We deserve leaders who will prioritize our needs, not Trump’s. Lara Trump is not that leader.
