In the Wake of Disaster, We Stand Shoulder to Shoulder
The floods that swept through the Texas Hill Country left behind more than wreckage—they left heartbreak, fear, and uncertainty for families across our community. Just a short drive from our headquarters in San Antonio, the devastation feels personal. We know these towns. We know these people. Our families visit the Guadalupe—just like so many others did over the holiday weekend.
As floodwaters surged and lives were upended, our nation’s heroes—first responders, National Guard and Coast Guard units, even local Veteran volunteers—sprang into action. They pulled neighbors from ravaging waters. They continue the heartbreaking search for the missing. And now, they face the daunting task of clearing mountains of debris from streets that once felt safe.
But these heroes need help too.
At Soldiers’ Angels, we’ve mobilized to stand beside them. We’re in direct contact with units on the ground to understand exactly what they need to carry the mission forward. Their requests are simple—but critical—for continued success:
Work GlovesCooling TowelsBandanas & GatorsVick's Vapor Rub Body Cleaning Wipes Clean Shirts & SocksBug Spray & SunblockProtein Bars & Energy ProductsJerky & NutsLots of Hydrating Drink Powder!
💔 They’re tired. They’re stretched thin. But they won’t stop. And neither will we.
This is where you come in. Help us stuff the Soldiers' Angels van with the items they need so next week we can hand-deliver support to our heroes!
Your cash donation—no matter the size—can deliver critical relief right now, allowing us to purchase exactly what these heroes need.
Or if you'd rather shop yourself, visit our Amazon Registry to send urgently needed supplies straight to our San Antonio office—where they’ll go from the box to the back of our van and directly into the hands of those who need them most.
Let’s show the heroes helping in Hill Country that they are not alone.

We’re proud to return to Washington, D.C. this July for our second-ever monthly Military & Veteran Food Distribution event—and we need your help to make it another success.
In June, we launched this new distribution site with overwhelming demand. Veterans and Service Members showed up in force, reminding us just how vital this resource is in our nation’s capital. With your support, we can continue showing up for them.
If you're in the D.C. area and know a Veteran or Service Member who could use a little extra support—please help spread the word. And if you’re able to lend a hand to volunteer, now is the time.

Let’s make month two even stronger than the first. Together, we can keep this mission going—and growing.
⚾ Colorado Rockies Honor Soldiers’ Angels at Coors Field
This past Sunday, the Colorado Rockies Foundation presented Soldiers’ Angels with a $15,000 grant during pre-game ceremonies at Coors Field in Denver!
Our Denver Area Director, Gina, accepted the check alongside two incredible volunteers, Noah and Garrick.
Soldiers' Angels was recognized on the jumbotron, with a heartfelt stadium-wide shoutout by Jim Kellogg, VP of Community & Retail Operations for the Rockies.
Thank you, Colorado Rockies, for believing in our mission and helping us serve those who serve.
💌 Adopt a Service Member—Even on a Budget
Think you can’t afford to adopt a deployed hero? Think again. You don’t need a big wallet to make a big impact—just a big heart.
When Service Members deploy overseas, they leave behind more than just home—they also lose access to familiar comforts, favorite snacks, and personal connection. That’s where you come in.
Through the Adopt-a-Service-Member program, Soldiers’ Angels matches you with a deployed hero in need of consistent support. By sending uplifting letters and thoughtful care packages, you’ll remind them that they’re not forgotten.
Here are a few easy, affordable ways to get started:
🧃 Use free USPS flat-rate boxes to save on shipping
🎨 Include hand-drawn cards, quotes, or poems—especially from kids!
📦 Stick to fun monthly themes to simplify shopping and stay consistent
Your kindness doesn’t have to cost much—but it can mean everything to someone serving far from home.
