These last few weeks have been deeply troubling.

On the eve of the Fourth of July, House Republicans betrayed millions of working families by voting to pass the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” – ripping away lifelines including Medicaid and SNAP from those who need them most.

Working families get nothing while billionaires receive tax breaks. It’s not right.

The fight doesn’t end here. I’m committed to delivering results to Central and Southern Illinois, and I’m energized by the folks I meet across the district who are taking a stand against the MAGA agenda.
