I recently posted about Mississippi’s remarkable growth (see below), and struck a chord. Typically, I get 3-4 million impressions on X monthly, but when I focus more on Mississippi’s achievements, the numbers spike up.
People across America are taking notice of the success of our state. What is happening is overturning old assumptions not just about the Magnolia state, but about the South more generally.
Here’s a quick look at Mississippi’s economic growth over the past decade—a lot to celebrate!

But we can’t stop here. With bolder policies, Mississippi could become a magnet for young talent, reversing the trend of outmigration.
