Weekend Reading

Hi Friend,

Every day, more Palestinians in Gaza are killed by bombings, starvation, and disease. While the need is overwhelming, our team continues to provide whatever support we can. TAKE ACTION

Sign our petition: Immigrants make our communities stronger [link removed]

As a Quaker organization committed to peace, justice, and human dignity, AFSC advocates for a more welcoming and just immigration system. But today, government raids are separating loved ones and creating a culture of fear. Join us in urging the Trump administration to stop wasting tax dollars on immigrant detention and deportation. Demand policies that treat all people with dignity and respect, no matter where they were born. Add your name today. [link removed]

Third Tuesdays: Protect, Resist, and Build with AFSC [link removed] (July 15, 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT)

Last month, the Trump administration deployed National Guard troops against peaceful protesters in Los Angeles. And just last week, the president signed a bill that slashes health care for the poor to pay for tax breaks for the rich. As we face more threats to our rights and dignity, what can we do to protect our communities and democracy? Join us to discuss how we can resist harmful policies and advocate for a just, peaceful future for all.
