Senior Medicare Patrol warns of COVID-19 scams
The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) has been receiving complaints of unsolicited callers using the fear and uncertainty from the COVID-19 pandemic to prey on Medicare beneficiaries. SMPs, who operate in every state, help beneficiaries prevent, detect, and report Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse.

3 million older adults face obstacles to using benefits
We have issued a study analyzing the systemic obstacles that keep nearly 3 million eligible older adults and people with disabilities from accessing programs designed to help pay for their health care and medicine. We identified policy solutions what would ensure all eligible low-income individuals receive this critical assistance.
