The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as performed by the Inmates of the Asylum at Charenton under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade was a 1963 play by the German playwright Peter Weiss. In 1966 Judy Collins recorded songs from the English language version of the play, staged by Peter Brook and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
