The Trump administration just crossed a dangerous line. They secretly handed over millions of people’s personal Medicaid data to immigration authorities, including right here in Maryland.
For decades, the law has been clear: Health data is private and must be used only to administer healthcare programs. But now, the federal government is using it to fuel mass deportations and terrorize immigrant families.
That’s why I filed suit.
Maryland’s Medicaid program serves 1.5 million residents, including pregnant women, seniors, children, and individuals with disabilities. If even a fraction of them delay care out of fear, it will create a crisis in our hospitals, and people will suffer.
We’re fighting to stop this betrayal of public trust and ensure every Marylander can access the care they need without fear.
But I need your help to keep up this fight.
Will you contribute $25 or whatever you can to power our work in court and on the ground?

In this moment, we must stand up for privacy, healthcare access, and the dignity of every Maryland family.
Thank you for being part of this fight.
