Dear John,
The House recently passed the Rescissions Act of 2025, which would, among other things, rescind a small portion of funding for the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). This program was launched in 2003 with the noble goal of fighting HIV/AIDS in the developing world, but the Biden administration hijacked it to promote abortion and LGBT ideology. Now, President Trump is fighting to defund the "woke" elements of PEPFAR through this rescissions package.
Tell your senators to stick with President Trump's plan!
The Trump administration has signaled its intent to partially defund PEPFAR to refocus it on providing life-saving treatment, rather than promoting abortion and radical ideologies abroad. This program needs to be recalibrated to its intended purpose: eradicating the scourge of HIV/AIDS in the developing world. The Rescissions Act of 2025 is a positive step in this direction.
Click here to encourage your senators to support the rescissions package! While you're at it, send a message to your representative based on how they voted.
Sincerely,
Your Friends at FRC Action
