Dear John,

They harvested our food, stocked our shelves, cared for our elders, and kept our
hospitals, farms, and factories running while much of the country was in
lockdown. Immigrant essential workers are not only vital—they are heroic.

But now, too many of them face the threat of deportation, despite the sacrifices
they made to keep America going.

President Trump has said he wants to protect immigrants working in essential
sectors. We must ensure those words become action.

More than 160,000 people have already signed the national petition. Let’s raise
our voices and demand dignity, protection, and permanence for essential workers.
