Hey friend,

Every day, there is new evidence of the GOP’s anti-voter, anti-democracy agenda. Just look at this headline from last month:

Time and again, history has shown us that far-right politicians and their billionaire backers are committed to restricting voting freedom. The RNC was always going to relentlessly defend the Trump Regime’s roadblocks that make voting harder by rolling back vote-by-mail and imposing complicated proof-of-citizenship requirements.

Are we surprised? No. But, it’s still alarming to constantly confirm that some of the very people who claim to serve Americans admit that the only way they win elections is when the freedom to vote is limited.

When extremist Republicans abuse their power to restrict voting freedom, we don’t back down — we fight. Ahead of the 2025 and 2026 elections, attacks from the far-right to undermine democracy will only get worse, and we need your help. Make a contribution to Fair Fight today, and if you’re able, take it a step further and become a monthly recurring donor. [[link removed]]

Georgians are well aware of the anti-voter agenda fueled by the far-right. When Stacey Abrams ran for Governor in 2018, her opponent and then Secretary of State Brian Kemp oversaw his own election. Leading up to the election, his office purged nearly 700,000 voters and put 53,000 voter registrations on hold (70% of those voters were Black). His office even closed 200 polling places in Black, brown, and low-income communities.

Then in 2021, when a Texas-based right-wing group called True The Vote (TTV) challenged the eligibility of more than 250,000 voters in Georgia's 2021 Senate runoff elections, we took them to court — and despite concluding that the group’s methods “utterly lacked reliability” and “verge[d] on recklessness,” the court ruled that TTV did not violate the Voting Rights Act.

But Fair Fight appealed that decision and remains committed to preventing TTV from carrying out a voter suppression playbook and serving as a model for election conspiracists nationwide. Back in May, a federal circuit court heard our appeal.

Now, we are waiting for the court’s decision, which could have major consequences for Republican extremists prepared to push their anti-voter agenda even further.

Fair Fight is fighting to help deliver on the promise of equal access to the ballot box. Make a contribution now >> [[link removed]]
