Good evening John
As we come together across Northern Ireland tomorrow to mark the Twelfth of July, we should all take a moment to reflect on what this day truly represents.
The Twelfth is a proud celebration of our identity and our culture, and a public statement of our faith. It reminds us of the liberty secured in the Glorious Revolution, but also of the values that continue to play a part in shaping our community - freedom under the law, a strong reformed faith, and our deep-rooted place within the United Kingdom.
It is also a day that highlights the unifying power of the Orange Institution. Across towns and villages, it brings together people from every walk of life, reminding us of the strength that comes when we stand side by side. That is a message unionism must learn from. We achieve more together than we do apart.
Divided unionism has already cost us dearly. As we look ahead to Assembly and Council elections in two years’ time, we must explore how to maximise the pro-Union vote and return more unionist representatives, not fewer. The need for common purpose and cooperation has never been more obvious or more essential.
Today is a celebration, but it is also a call to action. Let us honour our past by defending our future. Let us take pride in who we are and let us stand together, in strength and unity, as we continue to build a confident, inclusive and secure Northern Ireland within the Union.
Have a very enjoyable Twelfth!

** Ballymoney Campaign Day
------------------------------------------------------------
A strong team of DUP canvassers took to the doorsteps of Ballymoney on Thursday as part of our latest Campaign Day.
Party Leader Gavin Robinson MP, Deputy Leader Michelle McIlveen MLA and a number of our MLAs joined local representatives Paul Frew MLA, Cllr Mervyn Storey, Cllr Edgar Scott, Cllr Phillip Anderson, Cllr John McAuley and Cllr Dawn Huggins. They were also supported by party members from across Northern Ireland.
It was a day of positive engagement, with residents raising a range of important issues, from public services to local concerns that the DUP team will continue to champion on their behalf.
