Dear Friend,
My office is always working hard to make sure Michiganders are in the loop. Whether it’s updates on the work we’re getting done together, links to public resources, or information to keep you safe and healthy, we want you to have the information you need at your fingertips. I am committed to improving transparency and accessibility by making it easier than ever for you to stay connected with what’s happening in our state and making it easier for Michiganders to make their voices heard.
Together, we are making our state government more responsive, transparent, and accessible for everyone.
Let’s dig into how we’re making your state government work for you.
Sincerely,

Cutting Red Tape – Giving Michiganders a Voice in State Government
Michigan’s government should work for Michiganders. Our boards, councils, and commissions represent diverse interests, industries, and perspectives that support people, small businesses, and communities. Serving on a board or commission is a great way to get involved and make your voice heard.
If you are interested in making your voice heard by contributing to a state board or commission, review our current Appointments Openings [ [link removed] ] and apply at www.michigan.gov/appointments [ [link removed] ].
I encourage all Michiganders to bring their talent and perspective to state government and apply for an appointment to a statewide board or commission.
Last summer, I took proactive action to reorganize these boards [ [link removed] ], ensuring they can keep doing their important work effectively and efficiently. These changes will better protect taxpayer dollars by ensuring our government is as efficient and streamlined as possible to best serve Michiganders.
