We only have four days until our mid-month fundraising deadline expires. I know you must be thinking: “A major deadline just passed, why are you asking for money again?”

I’ll be honest, asking you for money is my least favorite part of this job. But the summertime is an especially challenging time for grassroots fundraising.

As folks spend time outside with their friends and family — as they should! — online grassroots contributions tend to slow down. At the same time, Republicans' efforts to enact their far-right agenda are only ramping up.

Meeting these goals helps us take on Republicans’ billionaire-first agenda AND support Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. So, here’s the part where I ask you:
